really liked it

When Jessica was in 2nd grade she wanted to read this series, but I wasn't quite sure about them. That's when I started proofreading my kids' books before I'd let them read them. A lot of people have a lot of preconceived notions about these books, and after reading most of the series I believe they are not accurate. Jessi actually learned so much about animals & insects by reading this series. The kids in the books are fighting an alien species by morphing into animals & insects. The neat thing though, is that they don't just look like the animals but they also take on their natural instincts, and sometimes struggle with their 'human' and 'animal' instincts trying to coincide with each other for a short while.

There is violence, and I did have to scratch out the Lord's name in vain throughout but overall I think this is an enjoyable series.
