I'm not sure how to rate this. It's the first book I have read on a Kindle, though I started it in print, and almost gave up on it quickly. In the end, I read it through, mostly because Boyle can write, but it's minor Boyle. He chooses to focus on the least likable of Frank Lloyd Wright's lives, and the most shallow. Who cares, after all, about these people? Wright was a bastard, and a genius, and his work lives on. The only one of his women who was close to an intellectual equal was murdered, and gets short shrift in this book. I don't not recommend it, but if someone were going to read recent Boyle, I'd recommend Talk Talk or his book on Kinsey (if one wants Boyle Historical Fiction) instead.
