Nick is planning on an unplanned, pure, and perfect summer. He wants nothing more than to avoid the reality of family life, hang with friends, and gain experience with Dani, his best-friend-with-benefits.
But then Sasha comes into the picture. Sasha, the sort of girl you notice in English and might wonder about occasionally, but don't lose sleep over. Nick soon thinks she's worth all her parents' rules, though, and worth losing Dani.
This is one of those rare YA books from the guy's perspective. Nick is fresh, flawed, and magnetically real. I believe "I Know It's Over" will become the "Forever"(Judy Blume) for this generation, and it deserves that honor.
