really liked it
Read in March, 2009

As usual, I like Lescroart. Dismas Hardy is a good lead character, flawed, sarcastic and loyal. And I love the city of San Francisco is more than a backdrop, it is a character. I enjoy the continuity of the cast of characters. They have aged with the series, allowing for the drama of life to remove some, while adding others. As always, I feel like I learned something about the legal system, this time about the Juvenile system. Not 5 stars, but I was always ready to pick it back up and see what happens next. Enjoyed it.
