really liked it
Read in February, 2009

Echoes of Anne Morrow Lindbergh's "The Gift of the Sea", this book chronicles one woman's journey with silence and inner listening. As someone who highly values silence and solitude I found this book comforting and I really enjoyed the insights she shared as she dealt with a vow of silence twice a month, that was kept regardless of what was happening in her life on those days.
p.s. My husband enjoyed the book as well (of course, he is already a meditator and occasionally attends silent meditation retreats).
