bookshelves: anglophilia, historicalromance

The 2nd story of the Ladies Literary Society of London members, this tale is Carolyn's, the beautiful widowed sister of Sarah (first book). The dashing Daniel, Carolyn's brother in law's best friend has been in lust with her for over a decade and as Carolyn re-enters society 3 years after her beloved husband's death, Daniel makes his move. A steamy book, (much more so than the first story) that emphasizes the passion between Carolyn and Daniel. Not as charming as the first book, but definitely more "adventuresome".
