It’s about mismatched married. Michael and Pauline have very different personalities, which is actually will be alright if they can take the best out from each other and make their personalities into something that complement each other. Instead, knowing how different they are, they expect their partner to change and fulfill their expectation. Both of them were so self-center, even when their daughter escaped, they were still not trying to accept their partner as they were and learn to life together peacefully. And the story goes on and on and on... That’s all...
The first time I know about this book was when I reading Daily Mail. Daily Mail opened their book club and this book was their first book. Soon, I noticed in my local library, it became “a quick choice”. Hmm, I never know Daily Mail could be a literary guide of our local librarian, I thought it should be something like guardian or times. Nevermind.
