This was an amazing book. I laughed out loud at parts, cried at others n simply melted at the romance n chemistry btwn the h/h. Courtney Milan's characters hv amazing depths n their principles are truly laudable. She creates the most amazingly different n unexpected stories with characters who are so alive u cannot but help love them. Robert is a duke but his ambition is to eradicate the unfairness to the peerage. Minnie has disguised her true self in 1 way or another since a child. Both are emotionally scarred from childhood. The secondary characters add wonderful depth to the story; Robert's cousin, 1/2 brother - their relationship n camaraderie was so real. Their teasing of 1 another made me LOL. but was nvr overdone. I can't wait to read their books.

Courtney Milan brings sthg to her bks that i've not experienced with other writers that makes her stories so memorable n wonderful to read.
