The first half of the book hooked me right away and I really dug the author's prose. The story gripped you right away and felt so realistic. It almost seemed autobiographical. The second half, I was almost bored at times though the subjects discussed usually greatly interest me. I'm not sure what the author was trying to convey with the ending. Maybe something was Lost in translation?
