His main point, clearly articulated & illustrated with Hebrew prophets, is that prophetic work is about CRITICISM (in the form of public grief to cut through alienation and numbness) and ENGERGIZING (amazement and hope to cut through despair) to create an alternative consiousness, imagine newness that's possible. It seems like a useful framework for prophetic work.
