In this book, a NYC mom/TV writer/ex-CIA analyst gets a mysterious call from a former colleague, which sends her on a mission to discover exactly why she was fired from the agency years before. It's got a meaty plot, lots of funny turns, a charmingly self-deprecating protagonist, and memorable characters.
