I am a huge sucker for pop science about human consciousness. Sacks, unfortunately, has the habit of boring me with far too many anecdotes which he fails to link in any progression of Greater Understanding.

Leah I liked The Man Who Mistook His Wife For A Hat And Other Clinical Tales but I could not get into this one. My entire Oliver Sacks area is rife with bookmarks, the bibliophile's flags of surrender.

Keith Putnam He'd probably be better off publishing the individual stories in some kind of periodical. They're interesting enough on their own, but in the aggregate I just get sick of 'em.
