Bettie☯ Hello there Misfit, hope all is well with you and yours.

I started this last night and instantly enjoyed the tempo and style. I will resume a little later after my foamy deep bath.

Misfit Hi Bettie, I've heard nothing but raves about this book although my library holds have overtaken me and it will be a while before I start this one. Enjoy your deep foamy bath. I'm jealous.

Laura It is a great book, I hope you enjoy it!!

Misfit I think it will be a winner. I did put it down for a bit just because I wasn't in the mood to read that period over the weekend.

Lol, look at Bettie's new photo.

Laura she is always changing her photo...

*laughs* - I usually find a summer one in June but decided to go the erudite route instead. 'Sheer Luck' is my moniker on LJ at the moment

Laura at least you don´t have any lack of imagination....

Bettie☯ nope - are you on librarything? I have been looking at that site Misfit gave me to check out book covers and it looks as if it's the same sort of thing as Goodreads.

Laura I was at LT but not any longer since I discovered GR which is much easy to interact with other users.

Bettie☯ right, so it's not as good as here - the pages do seem to be laid out in rather a sterile way.

Laura I agree...

Misfit I do librarything but there really isn't any good community interaction that I've found. I like the daily feeds with everyone's to read, read, etc. and the fact that I can comment on them. You won't find that there. Plus, you can only catalogue 200 books then you have to pay a fee $25 lifetime membership.

Bettie☯ only 200 and then they wantz ma lolly? - that's not a site for the likes of us.
