did not like it
bookshelves: fiction, read-for-school
Read in January, 2000

I had a good English 102 teacher at IRCC and he had the entire class read this for their term papers.

Cormac McCarthy's writing style is awful. His most grevious literary crimes to me: he fails to provide any translation for conversations in Spanish, has entire scenes take place where it's never clear who is in the scene or what is happening, he uses no quotation marks making it difficult to tell when someone is actually speaking.
