While Beck's brand of sarcasm can get grating at times, and he can spend far too long on topics that I really didn't care about (movies and blind dates) when he gets down to business, there is no one better. I was a little skeptical of him at first. Usually, when there is a conservative in the mainstream media, it is just a liberal that the media wants to pass off as a conservative to make the ignorant masses think that they have a voice. I'm happy to say that Beck really is a conservative. He talks about the issues that are most important to conservatives and offers solutions that are actually conservative -- not that neo-con crap that you'll get from politicians. Everyone would do well to read this book so that they can actually see what a conservative thinks because they are unlikely to see that anywhere else.
