I think this is a hilarious idea, and enjoyed the first half of the book. However, after that point the lack of correct historical detail and mismatch of tone became annoying. I think even those of us with little knowledge of this period are aware that multiple shots can not be fired from a musket without reloading. It's true P&P is my favorite book, so I'm perhaps more than a little prejudiced. I just wish that Seth Grahame-Smith had made the seams less visible. The sexual and scatalogical humor just doesn't mesh with Jane Austen.

Jason I heard about this! I'm curious to see what you think of it. I'll read it or not read it based on your rating. No pressure!

Andy I just put up a review. If you aren't a Jane Austen fan you might find it more enjoyable than I did.
