**Advance Uncorrected Galley**

Sixth in the Ranger's Apprentice series targeted toward young readers, this was a rousing adventure story complete with shipwreck, swashbuckling, a maiden awaiting rescue in a tower, and a mysterious sorcerer (sort of). Despite these classic components, it was really a very engaging fantasy tale, set in a country loosely based on medieval-era Great Britain, though the climax was a bit predictable.
