Ehhh.... about this book....
It is a quick read indeed. I thought it would take me longer to get through this book. I'm glad I'm through, though.

I did not feel any sympathy for the Old General at all. In the second half of the book, when Kornad comes to visit, I was annoyed by his VERY long monologue, wining and complaining. It almost felt like one of the old automobiles, that you had to start with a crank. I felt the urge to do that to the general every now and then, when the story did absolutely not move forward at all.

Okay, it is nice at times to be philosophical, to have long discussions, but this was too much of a good.
