The other thing I need to admit is that I love the unrequited romance between Bella and Jacob! Oh yeah, folks, I'm totally Team Jacob in this series. Hate me. Go ahead. You know you want to.

Eclipse is the third book in the Twilight series by Stephenie Meyer. This series has been ridiculously popular and has managed to do something that only the Harry Potter series has done in recent years... make kids want to read. And that's a good thing, right?

In this book, we find the romance between everyday girl Bella and her vampire boyfriend Edward blossom even more than it already has in past books. However, her desire to become a vampire and join him in eternal love is also growing exponentially, much to Edward's chagrin. But Jacob, longtime family friend of Bella and her dad, still has eyes for her and is not willing to give up his chance to make a life with her a reality.

To make matters worse, there's evidence that Victoria, the rogue vampire who has been hunting Bella, is still around to make life hell for our darling couple.

I can't really say much else and this is why I hate reviewing series of books. If I say one little thing, it could completely ruin the reading experience of the earlier novels. GRRRRR!!!

I'll say the safe thing here and now... if you like the romance between Edward and Bella, there's plenty of it here. If you like Jacob, there's plenty of him in this story too. But we also have a fair amount of action going on in this novel, which is good for everyone.]]>
