Memory in Death - By luck, I seem to be finding these novels in order at the library (at least, in order from the 22nd book or whichever one I started from). Eve is confronted by an unwelcome ghost from the past (very unwelcome, given her particularly tormented past), Roarke hangs around being very wealthy and supportive as usual, and we have Christmas going on making Eve particularly misanthropic. The mystery is tight and exciting, and while the final revelations stretch the bounds of belief just a little, that's what you expect from these novels. Fun, fast-paced, addictive.
