I grabbed this off the readers choice shelf at the library mainly for the quilt aspect. It turned out to be another re-inventing yourself after a layoff book. I'm beginning to wonder why these books are drawn to me? In this case, after losing her television job and having one of the worst days of her life, Carly finds herself returning to the home of a psychic who gave her a quilt and a reading. As Carly's life is shattered and she picks up the pieces, she helps puts the lives of her new friends back together as well. There were some lose ends I would have liked to have seen tied up -like the artist who buys nothing but charcoals and only says "FO" to anyone who makes eye contact.

The writing is a bit pedantic but its still better than I can write.
