This book has been extremely valuable in working with small groups of beginning readers. It is specifically designed for differentiated instruction. The lesson plan model is fast-paced and very sound and includes all the components for excellent Language arts instruction. The sequence of skills and the optional review lessons follow a research-based set of skills and allow flexibility for teachers to review skills as they go.

Students really enjoy the program, as many of the activities have a game-like structure, and the frequent changes keep them engaged and focused.

Teachers have found the book to be very valuable, and it has been very successful in improving end of level test scores.

The book is only available through the website: www.readingteachersplanbook.com, though it can be purchased with school purchase orders as well.
