Tragedy. One of Shakespeare's most popular and best, inspiring the classic Freudian Oedipal interpretation, since Hamlet wants to murder his stepfather (once his uncle) and feels quite close to his mother. There's also Ophelia, Rosencrantz and Guildenstern (not quite as funny here as in their own play), and Horatio, Hamlet's best pal. "To be or not to be..." indeed -
