Like many of the reviewers here, I wondered if this might be more fun for adults than kids, but what I've decided is that it is a perfect read-together book. Aunt Sally's stories are quite over-the-top and kids are completely up to understanding the wacky embellishment that happens with retelling stories, however the (perfect) ending will need some adult assistance, I think.

Once again, I am wishing I had my three kids (great hulking adults and GoodReads friends now) back home, all snugged up to one another for more reading aloud. . . sigh. All you young parents out there, here's my unsolicited advice: you cannot read aloud too much to your children.
