Great Book, the first one of Christopher Moore's that I read. He has since become one of my favorite authors. There are few authors that make me uncontrollably laugh out loud on public transit and he is one of them.
This one will always hold a special place for me as it was the first of his I read, and I grew up reading lots of Coyote stories. My father always said that the closest thing he had to religion was Coyote (and there are plenty of coyote paintings etc at my parents house). He loved the book as well.
I think the humor in this one may be just a little bit harsher than some of this others, but it's been a while since I've read it. May be time for a re-read.
