Sandy D. Essays from 2000 and earlier - largely autobiographical, about growing up evangelical, rebelling as a teenager, living in Chicago, Andrew Jackson, Frank Sinatra, insomnia, learning to drive, Disneyworld and Celebration, FL. The title essay comes from "The Godfather", which Vowell watched compulsively in college.

Fun but maybe not as good as her later stuff - especially "Assassination Vacation" - except for a couple of essays about her childhood, which were wonderful.
