Thank God this book is only 100 pages long. Perhaps it was because there was little to no dialog in the story, but I found this a little tedious and boring to read. Don't get me wrong, I really like Hemingway, but this just wasn't my cup of tea. In a nut shell a washed up old man with a washed up dreams and an obsession with bone spurs and Joe DiMaggio, sets sail, completely unprepared, to catch the biggest Marlin anyone has ever seen. A tragedy and a disaster. It was an easy read, but that doesn't always make it a good read.
