I liked Metro Girl much better. Hooker had no pizazze in this book as opposed to the first one. It was almost like he could have been completely removed from the book in some parts and it would not have made a difference. And I don't really "feel" Barney" as a character yet. I was starting to in #1 but she kind of drifted into an undefined character. <br/>I think that I am giving it 3 stars partly because I am just coming off of a month of Plum reading. Compared to the Plum books this one is defintely thumbs down. However, I have faith in Janet's writing style. I love how she describes things, I love her humor.
