A good companion book to Hana's Suitcase, a work of non-fiction that also centers on the World War II experience of children living near Lidice, Czechoslovakia, a town exterminated by Hitler. Someone Named Eva adds a different perspective to the growing body of middle-school Holocaust literature because Eva is a Catholic girl who is kidnapped from her family and repatriated as a German child.
