it was amazing
bookshelves: 2009, books-i-recommend

Oh boy was this ever the book for me right now. It is so hard, as a wife and mother, to not strive for Martha Stewart esque perfection. It's hard to remember that I am a full time employee, wife, mother, daughter, friend, etc etc etc. FULL TIME, and Muff Mead-Ferro has, with humor and honesty, reminded me of that. I am not a housewife, and I can't expect myself to have a home that looks like I am.

And let's get real here... as Mead-Ferro mentions in her final chapter, the kids will remember the snowmen, the pillow fights, the tickle fests... not the specific meals, or the sparking floors.
