I loved this book. I think it was a great description from "within the trenches" of a restaurant. The stories were not surprising and were all too familiar I would say as someone who worked in a restaurant for 12 years. I am probably quite cynical myself and really loved the fact that he was highlighting what assholes people can be. I got a huge kick out of it and was happy to see that I was not alone. I thought it was great. Although he did say this, I think he should have said it more, and I've been saying it for years: "If you cannot afford to leave a decent tip, you can not afford to eat out: stay at home"
(and don't order delivery either if you cannot afford to tip the driver)
