I disagree with this coming under the "gay-fiction" genre. For one, it's an autobiography. 'Nuff said. And there's so much more to John Barrowman than him being gay. For a start, his sense of humour, which is one of the many things I love about his characters in Doctor Who and Torchwood, makes "Anything Goes" an excellent read. He deserves all his success because it hasn't changed him at all. He's obviously a down-to-earth, loving and pretty damn funny guy- and an excellent performer just to top it off. Any fan of his, whether for his sci-fi roles or his successes in the West End will not be disappointed. Prepare to laugh out loud and learn a few unexpected things- not just about Barrowman, but about what goes on behind the scenes in the West End and on the DW set.
