Overall - 4.5/5 : Interesting
Plot - 4/5 : Amazing Plot development. A series of Murder in which the victims eyes are completely destroyed, sends Lucas to all corners withour any results, as the murder suspects have a very strong alibis during the time of murders. Driven into this web of chance, Lucas depends on the aide of an eye victness and the victims secret lover, the Loverboy, to get the serial killer. The main problem with it is, the Loverboy wants and remains a secret.
Writting - 4/5 : Moving all the time.
Hero - 4/5 : Lucas Davenport. A in trouble more that on a mission.
Villan - 5/5 : Dr. Bekker and actor Druze. Bekker is a vilian to remeber, whereas Druze is pathotic.
Description - 5/5 : Each paragraph speaks.
Violence - 5/5 : Drugs and medications. Cannot remember all those have been said and used ! Keep away please !
Romance - 4/5 : The romantic comeback for Lucas and his new girl friend is enjoyable.
Philosophy - 0/5 : Not necessary
Art - 2/5 : "The Cyclops" by Redon
History - 0/5 : No background, all in the present !
References - 0/5 : Nothing that I came across.
Humour - 3/5 : There are some humurous moments with Solan and Lucas. Even in this dark tale, the humour hangs on.
Dialogues - 3/5 : No much, but quite good. I could note some expression those were repeated or taken from the previous book in the series.
Characters - 4/5 : Limited characters and thier developement is to good. (Except for Bekker - Could have avoided repeatedly taking about his drug habit.)
Positive - A good suspense with a twist more than the thrill.
Negative - repeated description on Bekker use of Drugs. Druze.
Comments : Eventhough you can guess here and there, you will be suprised in the end.
What I learned from this book : Names of medicines are more complicated than I had thought.
