A fantastic book for anyone who has cancer, or has a chance of getting cancer (that means you)! A bit repetitive at times, but I listened to the audio version; the text version might not have been so repetitive as it narrated all of the summary lists and suggestions.

The take away from this is to eat healthy, and exercise or there is a very good chance you'll either get cancer, or if you already have cancer, you'll die sooner. This book really makes the case (again) for eating organically, and eating from animals that are treated ethically (fed well, and treated well). If you must eat meat, then eat it as a side, and not as the main part of the meal. The less meat we eat the less we harm our environment as growing meat takes a lot more resources than growing vegetables/nuts/berries.

The quick summary for how to fight cancer before you get it, and/or if you already have it (from memory) is:

Drink lots of green tea
Eat lots of organic vegetables, berries, nuts
Strive for more Omega 3 fatty acids and less of Omega 6 fatty acids. This can be accomplished by eating various dairy products from animals fed a natural diet (read not industrial dairy). Cut junk food (using Michael Pollan's formula, if it has more than 5 ingredients, it's most likely junk food).
Drink a glass of red wine with dinner
Eat 70% dark chocolate
Exercise at least the equivalent of a 30 minute walk 4 times a week.
Have social outlets.
etc...
