Wow. Just wow.

I just finished this book last night, and I adored it. Gaiman has done, as usual, a fantastic job creating a different feel to his characters' world, in this case a micro-world within the larger everyday one.

There were a couple of parts in the middle where the plot seemed to be wandering off into tangents, but they're all tied together at the end. And life doesn't always tie off neatly, as the ending to this book does a wonderful job of acknowledging.

Well done, Mr. Gaiman, for avoiding clichés of a certain type you could easily have fallen into using, and more importantly for a story beautifully written and oh-so-cleverly conceived. I envy your skill.
