Fun book--I liked that Callie learned about herself and acquired some much-needed self-confidance during her trip to the past. What I thought was interesting was that she assumed that people in 19th century should think and behave like the people in the 21st century. As a plot device, it did allow for her many misinterpretations of things Alex (whom she has a crush on) says or does. That, and some of the way she says things I found slightly annoying, which makes me think that the author perfectly captured the way a teen girl might think, act, and talk.
