I enjoyed the book and was certainly entertained by it. It took a little while to get used to the writing style and get into the plot, but once I did, I was intrigued with the story. I was surprised at Neal Stephenson's descriptions of technologies that are only now coming to reality. I could have done without the sexual content especially since it involved a fifteen-year-old girl, but since the story is set in a futuristic distopia without any laws/rules, I guess it illustrates how society's morals have devolved as well.

The jury is still out on whether or not I am a Neal Stephenson fan. I would like to read at least one more of his novels before I can make that determination.
