Sarar good luck ;-)

Danielle The Book Huntress (Angels Weep For Goodreads) It will take me a while, since I'm squeezing it in amongst review reads. Charles Dickens is not one to get to the point, but so far, it's going well. :)

Lulu Hope you enjoy it. I love Dickens.

Danielle The Book Huntress (Angels Weep For Goodreads) Thanks, Lulu. This is my first novel by him. I have read A Christmas Carol and The Chimes, and I enjoyed those.

Gary Inbinder This is my favorite Dickens novel, and there's a classic film version with John Mills. There's also a very good adaptation running now on Masterpiece Theater.

Danielle The Book Huntress (Angels Weep For Goodreads) I'll have to try to catch the Masterpiece Theater version. Thanks for the heads up, Gary.

Marts (Thinker) ahh come on, not 6 months...

Danielle The Book Huntress (Angels Weep For Goodreads) That's how it's looking so far. Charles Dickens is not a fast read for me.

Marts (Thinker) well its worth the 6 months anyway, this is a great novel, a favourite of mine...
Enjoy...

Steamywindows♥♫ I just learned that CD wrote as a serial novelist, publishing a chapter at a time and then when he was finished, published it as a book. Apparently they were as popular as hit TV shows are today, with everyone anxiously waiting for the next instalment. Timeless writing isn't it?

Danielle The Book Huntress (Angels Weep For Goodreads) I had heard that about him being a popular writer who wasn't considered literary in his day. I think once I get used to his writing style, I can see the reason why he is so beloved.

Deonna I just didn't like it, even though I am a Dickens fan.

Danielle The Book Huntress (Angels Weep For Goodreads) I haven't felt the urge to get back into this book yet. The words don't move me.

Marts (Thinker) yeah its a bit long and uhhh, boring?
but, how about trying the illustrated classics version first, that should get u ready for this one...

Danielle The Book Huntress (Angels Weep For Goodreads) I have this copy, so I'm sticking with it. It's not a priority for me, so whenever I feel like going back, I will. I've seen the movies, so I don't think I need to resort to reading an illustrated classic (no offense to them). For now, other things are calling my attention.

Marts (Thinker) Cool :) enjoy your reading :):)
