When the fuss about Harry Potter began and everyone was like reading the books, I just didnt want to read them. Friends would be discussing it and wondering what happens next and I would tell them isn't it a kids' book.

But once quite accidentally I found my brother's copy and thought to myself that I'd just check out the first few pages. I ended up reading the whole book in a day. So if you've never read it, beware you'll be hooked up by the first page of the book.

The story is a boy who reminds you of Cinderella only that he doesn't go to live in the castle forever. Now and then he has to revisit his "loving" relatives. He finds he is a wizard and learns that there is a whole different world out there where he makes friends and enemies and so his adventure begins.
