did not like it
Read in February, 2008

I am sticking with my 1-star review despite the backlash :). While I certainly admire Randy Pausch's courage, my rating in no way reflects my attitude towards him or his battle. I had heard the lecture itself and saw him interviewed around the time I read the book. He seemed like a great (and strange) fellow.
It is just that the book was awful. It is poorly written, and it is inspirational fluff and feels like self-help guide to death/life. Instead of feeling inspired, I felt let down by a dumbed down version of how to deal with life and lives obstacles.

Juli ONE star? ONE??

Winn Shouldn't he get more than one star merely by the fact that he gave the lecture heroically before he breathed his last?

Someone was in a bad mood when she was clicking stars...
