I really wanted to like this book...

Sadly, this was a case of "judging a book by it's cover and awesome blurb, and thinking that the book would be awesome, too".

Crash, for me, did not live up to my expectations. I don't even understand the pricing for this book! I bought it for $17, the same price I bought the Forsaken for. Except, The Forsaken has double the pages, triple the action, and quadruple the excitement .

When it all comes down to what I consider the book being worth after reading it, it feels like I was ripped off.

Why I did not like it:

The characters. I never really connected with them, and I felt they were just typical. There was nothing extraordinary about them that made me become hooked onto their story.

Overall, I am semi glad I bought this book. Even though I am pretty sure I am going to return it, (view spoiler), I was able to read it now, which is all that I think matters, really.

I might even do this more often, haha. Buy a book, read it in a day, and then return it to buy something else!

It's fool proof.

I do not know if I will buy and read the second book. I guess I have a whole year ahead of me to think about it, since it comes out October 2013. I might read it though, just to see if the development improves. So, in the mean time, I guess I'll just be chillin' in the background...

Read at your own risk!

A little quote I liked...

"I think about how weird it is that loving someone just makes everything hurt so much more. But I guess it's that pain that means you're alive, and love and pain are so... so twisty. I wonder if love would feel as good if there wasn't any pain. I don't think it could. So I guess that's kind of what makes life worth living."
