liked it

Good book but probably wouldn't have liked it as much if I hadn't seen the movie first. Plus, in this book you learn that pocket cell phones were available in 1980. Who knew? Personally, I hate Cormac McCarthy's style. He basically ignores elementary school grammar rules which I find annoying and distracting. Good thing the plot of this book is so engaging or else I would have put it down forever, much like I did with The Road, which you will notice I have not reviewed. The reason for this is because I bought it, read about 40 pages and found myself wondering when something was going to happen. Instead of waiting I felt I'd read something more entertaining and not waste any more of my life on that atrocious novel.
