** spoiler alert ** Haven just doesn't fit quite right. She's abnormally tall for a fifteen-year-old girl. Her sister Ashley is getting married to the plain, Lewis, and Haven can't figure out why she dumped Sumner. Sumner had made everything right, that summer.
As her father remarries to the "weather pet" and her best friend Casey is broken-hearted, Haven realizes that she's sick of taking care of everyone.
I enjoyed this book because it kind of applies to me. Haven has this anger, building inside, that she tries to always hold back. She tries to comfort everyone, be fine for everyone, until one day she snaps.
An easy, fast read, and definitely worth it.
