I began reading this book after I saw a movie.

I was disappointed. The book is too girlish: long and detailed descriptions of how a guy looked at a girl, notes in his voice, his looks or movements and how all that made her feel. Boring. It take me a lot of effort to read it to the end.

And no sense of humor at all. Main character, a seventeen-year-old girl who fell in love with a vampire - she is deadly serious, in all her thoughts and words.

Perhaps it is a good reading for school-kids, mostly girls. But if you are not, I recommend to watch the movie instead. It contains lots of nice visuals, no feelings description and is not boring at all.
