it was amazing
Read in June, 2009

I liked this book more than the previous two. I'm not really sure why, but I know that I was definitely more engaged with the story and couldn't wait to read it. I liked the pace of this book and although it was longer than the other two, it really didn't seem it whilst I was reading it.

The book follows the continuing story of Bella and Edward. They are back from Italy and find themselves embroiled in the mystery of a spate of killings in Seattle. Bella is still struggling with the feelings she has towards both Edward and Jacob, and what this means for her future.

The story is paced well and kept me interested. I couldn't put the book down because I was eager to know what would happen with both the mysterious killings and the love triangle. Some things haven't changed - the teen angst is still there in all its glory and Bella still obsessively analyses every little detail of her relationship with Edward - however I don't think that this is a bad thing. Sometimes you just need a book that you don't have to think about and that you can escape with. This book is that perfect release. Looking forward to reading Breaking Dawn.
