I really enjoyed this book. It surprised me that rather than attacking Democrats and elevating Republicans- Savage blasted both sides for standing by and doing nothing while this country is overrun with people determined to censor some religions and not others, teach our children a liberal agenda in school including homosexual education, and on and on and on. He objects because we have stood by and done nothing while the Republic our Forefathers desired for us is desecrated. We started as a Christian nation- those who contributed to the constitution and bill of rights knew we needed moral standards to guide us- personally I would say we need the Word of God- the Holy Scriptures to guide us and our children. I pray for a revival, for us to return to those values that our nation used to pride itself in- the values I am reading about in my grandfather's memoirs.

Rachel I thought you were from Australia? How would you know what's being discussed in American schools? And yes, the homosexual agenda is being pushed in schools- I have friends who have put their children in Kansas in private school for this very reason- they have moral objections to that lifestyle and don't want their children being told by teachers that it is an appropriate lifestyle. I am proud of our Christian heritage as a nation and within my own family. Christianity is a personal relationship but it is also a passion- once you know the Lord you want everyone around you to know God as well because of how He changes your life inside out. It affects every part of you- even your political views and the role of govt.
