Read in September, 2009

I felt a little bit of the magic was lacking for the following reasons:

1) the novelty wore off, which was part of the coolness of the last one
2) I had just finished another book that was almost EXACTLY like this one the night before, it was called Hunger Games
3) like some of my other friends have said, the love triangle is Stephenie Meyer's MO, so it felt a little too much alike.

That being said I did read it in 24 hours and did enjoy it, I just didn't feel it was anywhere near as strong as the first . . . it had the feeling of being a transitional pit stop between what 1 was and 3 will (hopefully) be.
