"A Song for Arbonne" is for Fantasy what "Dune" is for Sci-Fi. Complex themes, intricate plots, and filled with political intrigue, Guy Gavriel Kay weaves a tale that is at the peak of the genre.

An important book for any fan of fantasy, it revived a love for the genre for me. Reading it after so many years in publication, I feel like indeed I have been missing out, and the tropes and clichés of the genre are not as present here. It is possible to find an original fantasy novel, here it is.
