This book is a nice summary of the basics of creating Comics: time, frames, line, color, etc. The presentation format (comics) attempts to prove the point that the comics medium can be used to convey any kind of message... this book succeeds in part in this, though many logic-related concepts are made more difficult to grasp; in turn, other concepts such as time and display are much easier to convey than in traditional art textbooks. To conclude, Understanding Comics was interesting and I would recommend it to anyone interested in this medium.
