3.5 Stars So, yeah, it's fluffy chick lit, but it's clearly written by someone who knows what she writes, which gives it slightly more depth than chick lit about shopaholics and man problems. As the mom of two, one of whom is under a year old, I know all too well how easy it is to get so caught up in full-time motherhood that you start to forget who you are. And, really, you reach a certain point where you just want the old you (you know, the one who actually showered, wore makeup, and didn't wear gym gear all day) back. So, I enjoyed that aspect of this book -- Amy trying to find her old self after the birth of her daughter. But then the book shifted gears to more relationship-y issues (after newly-rediscovered Amy decides to be stupid), and it kind of lost me. All in all, a decent light read, but not my favorite of the genre.
